Taking care of oneself looks different to everyone. Whether its going for a run, spending time with friends, cooking, doing face masks or taking a trip, self care is a pretty broad concept. However, I am here to remind you of the little things you can do to better yourself and your wellbeing during times of stress.
- Identify your stressor. If you can’t identify it, you can’t target it!
- Take a step back and breathe. Maybe take a break from what you are doing that is causing you stress. Clean your room, go for a walk, etc…
- Remind yourself you are in the present. Ground yourself before you try to get back to work.
